When power resistance should increase it decreases and when it should decrease it increases.

syncing video and workout
Are you sure that the video and the workout are in sync? We recommend enabling "silence voice" in the app settings, and you need to be sure to press "play" on the workout when you see the video title appear. If that doesn't sort it out, let us know and we'll look into it further. This particular workout is relatively new and user submitted and we haven't tested it with the video.
