It would be handy to have multiple folders for my Personal workouts. For example "MTB", "Road", "Coggan workouts"

I encountered a problem when setting the date to begin a training plan. When I set it (to last Monday) everything worked fine until I got out of edit mode, into view mode and clicked "Activate for user DavidR". Then it changed the beginning date to Thursday and threw everything out by a few days.

Realy great app, are you going to make it works also in background? It's annoying to lose data when receiving calls or inadvertently pressing home .

I'm wanting to be able to access my data files to put into a spreadsheet. Is there any way to do that?

In the version of the app on the store there is no way to get data out to use in a spreadsheet. You can get the file out as a pwx if you upload it to trainingpeaks then download the file from there. I'm not sure about converting from that xml to a spreadsheet-able format. I'm resuming you are interested in something like a powertap csv?

Currently in Beta is Dropbox integration to send a file from the app to your desktop. This is ready for release I think but I'm working on a couple other issues as well. Unfortunately I've chosen the Garmin .fit binary file as my fileformat, which is a much more comprehensive format than the powertap csv, but can't be loaded into a spreadsheet.

The fit sdk, freely available from the ANT people, http://thisisant.com, has a fittocsv converter, but its not powertap csv, rather a specific csv representation of the fit format.

Here is a link to a discussion of how to use that fittocsvtool and at the very bottom a way to seemingly convert to the powertap csv using a perl script. Everything here will have to be run on the command line. http://old.nabble.com/support-for-Garmin-.fit-files-td30023847.html

I may add direct support for powertap csv via the dropbox sync in the future, but I'm not sure.

This app is already a 5 star. Would be nice to somehow toggle and see a map of where you are too.

intervals

It would be nice if on the interval screen you could skip to the next section or just pause. Maybe this is already possible and just not on the ones Ive done. Thanks.

Hello,

There are VCR style controls for the intervals, visible when you touch the screen to bring up the controls. These controls toggle to music controls if you touch the music button.

training plan date problem

I see what you mean. I'll have to look into why it does that, but if you edit your training plan again you should be able to change the date back to the 14th, then it will schedule the start date correctly. There is an activate check box in the edit mode for the training plan and it should work correctly if you use that. The activate checkbox in the view mode is more intended to allow users who are not the owner of the workout (i.e. group members) to activate the workout. There is also a checkbox in the edit page to allow such users to set their own start date, but with that off it should have set it to the plan author's start date instead of today.

The personal workouts could use such a feature for sure. I'll look into that as it might not be too hard to have users free-tag their workouts and list the tags at the top of the personal workouts page, where clicking the tag filters the workouts to only show that tag.
