Problem with telemetry....

Howdy,
First use today just using the App with my 3G phone. Waiting on Wahoo hardware. Apparently was transmitting speed and mapped location fine (wife tracking me), but then just stopped. Questions:
1. Do you need to lock out phone calls, texts or something to make sure they don't shut the unit down (not sure if this is what happened but also don't know what happens if a call comes in).
2. Where does the data go if this does happen? I use training peaks and it didn't end up there or even in the history of the device. I guess I lost everything.
tnx

telemetry
Hi Jeff,
Stoppage of the telemetry is probably due to a loss of 3g data. If the app loses the 3g it will stop sending the data then check once a minute to see if it can reconnect to the telemetry server. A phone call will interrupt the app only if you answer it, and if you do it will automatically restart the app and ask if you want to resume the workout. If you close the app with the home button during a workout and then relaunch you get the same behavior.
You shouldn't lock the phone when sending telemetry, since the network will sleep after 30 mins when locked, even if it is sending data. In stead be sure that the "Proximity for telemetry" setting is on (if you have the phone in your pocket, but not in a bar-mounted case or somewhere you will be looking at it).
The telemetry data is separate from the logging data, which is collected in the app. That data is not lost if telemetry is lost, and is either sent automatically at the end of the workout or you can send it from "History".
Thanks,
