Hello:

I've been enjoying using iMi on my iPhone with my KICKR but there is one problem I haven't found a solution for. I've tried a few public workouts, including your VO2 Max and FTP test. When the workout switches from hard (VO2 max) to recovery mode, my KICKR resistance actually shoots up, as if I suddenly started climbing a super steep hill. Suddenly very hard to pedal. Obviously not recovery at all! I notice the dashboard switches from ERG mode to manual. So what I do is switch back to ERG mode and adjust the ERG to a lower value and get my RPM back up. But doing this extra step during every rest/recovery interval is quite disruptive.

Thoughts?

By the way, I think you created an excellent product with good data manipulation and a decent UI.

Thank you.

I have tested using http://imobileintervals.com/workout/5-minute-vo2-max-intervals and I cannot reproduce a problem.

Can you clarify if there are workouts you have tried that don't have this problem, or if its too heavy in "recovery" zone for all workouts.
Also how you FTP is configured (website settings or app settings overriding server) and what your ftp is.

I would also suggest doing the spindown test for the KICKR.
