iphone app was running
-->was mid workout, not on final interval
-->minimized to check my messages
-->re-opened app
-->app went to home screen, no indication that workout was running
-->found workout file in history
--> clicked share workout details... to TP and iMobile web
--> rcd message: Error Sending Report
--> emailed tcx file to myself, tried to attach but does not upload
This was a Funtional Threshold Test, not something I'm loking forward to doing again any time soon :)

corrupted workout
Sorry, that sounds like a crash while going into or out of background. Fortunately, I've fixed this bug and the fix will be in the next release.
If you can't get the tic file emailed, then there probably isn't any data to salvage. If you can, try looking at it with a text editor to see if you can get the average watts for the test interval, which might be there even if the tcx file is not well formed.
