IMI and Sufferfest

Hi, I have a Wahoo KICKR and I'm wondering if IMI actually controls the difficulty level on the KICKR to match the videos or if it's just tracking the different sections?
Thanks,

Sufferfest on KICKR
Hi,
Yes, the Sufferfest workouts are clones of the Sufferfest erg files available on the Sufferfest website. TIP: turn on "silence voice" in the app settings to make it easy to start the workout (i.e. press the play button) when you see the title on the video. Also the voice prompts are pretty useless for the sufferfest rapid intensity changes.
So the *intervals* match in duration exactly what is in the Sufferfest erg file, but the Appstore version of iMi doesn't yet know about the specific erg watts in the workout. Instead the erg value is calculated from your FTP (threshold watts) that you set in the app or on the website. so you need to have that set in order to use a sufferfest workout properly. Additionally, Since its not possible to calculate a median watts for zones 6 and 7, the app sets the KICKR to a fixed resistance (that can be specified in the app settings for these zones).
Currently in beta testing is a bunch of improvements to ERG-mode KICKR training that will be able to run these Sufferfest workouts exactly like the original ERG/computrainer workouts.
