General Questions on Workouts

How can I tell if an interval is to set a watts zone or specifying a % FTP?
I'm using the Kickr, how can I tell if the resistance is reacting to settings defined in the workout?
Is there a "handbook" that defines the function of IMI menu options? For example, what is "Prefer Powermeter Watts"?
Thanks again for your help!

1) If you look at the workout (the page with the begin/delete buttons, or by touching the workout title while in the workout) and scroll down to where it lists the intervals, intervals with ERG values set (absolute or by %FTP) will display the ERG watts, whereas intervals with watts zone set will show the zone only, not a calculated watts.
2) during the KICKR workout, any change in ERG watts will be in response to how an interval is programmed. An interval with ERG set will show a specific watts value in the intensity panel on the right side of the UI, i the "WT" slot. An interval with a watts zone and not ERG will show a watts range in "WT" slot.
3) Check the main navigation on the site. There is a help section, though it may need an update. "Prefer Powermeter Watts" is for when you use a bike with a power meter on the KICKR. In this case, you are basically using two power meters, and this switch gives you the option of displaying and using for data collection the wattage coming from your bike's power meter. Its worth noting that if you have a power meter on your bike, you can get the cadence from that (independent of this switch), something that the KICKR doesn't provide.
