It would be really nice if you could
1. Edit workouts (that is a real PITA)
2. Have a repeat x times to step y
3. Set the "kickr resistance".. for the whole ride.
4. Set the "kickr resistance" for on an interval/interval ... I.E. dont use ERG mode
5. Do a kick rolldown in the tool
I dont know or think about power in "zone" anything... I just have targets that I want to hit... or sometimes exceed.
I notice in the recent upgrade it now sets the resistance back to "0" at the start/end of intervals... which kinda has me screwed up
Thanks,
Alan

With regards to the
With regards to the "repeat"... with Garmin you can setup a "repeat" step... that goes back to a step number a specified number of times... your method works... it just isnt that elegant. To fix it neatly you would need to change your interval file format to have that... I still think that it would be a good enhancement.
With regards to the Kickr resistance... you fixed it. I did my intervals today with your changes and they worked just fine. I think that a "blank" in the resistance field should be "dont change anything" instead of "set the resistance to 0"
With regards to the rolldown... it seemed to work just fine - excellent
I like the new setting that you added to not change the resistance.
There are several more things that I think that you should do.
1. I think that you should add an interval type that is "ride until lap button"... and then add a lap button (like the garmin does)... this will let me warm up until I am warm.. then click the lap to start the intervals... then cool down until im done.
2. I when you flip back and forth between the riding screen and the "start music, save etc" screen.. going back to the ride screen is hard to figure out.
Anyway... thank for making those changes... it is much better.

Thanks for your comments. I would reply:
1) it might be possible to make the app edit workouts that were made in the app. Probably the only improvement that could be realistically be made for editing workouts that come from the website is to have a "reload" button in the loaded workout that would sync it with whatever changes have been made on the website, rather than having to delete and reload.
2) not sure what this means, please elaborate, if you mean something for the website or in the app ad hoc workout builder.
3) This is possible with an open-ended workout or if none of the intervals have ERG values or an intensity zone set. Sounds like maybe you would like to do interval workouts (e.g. public ones) that might have intensity zones but not have it go in ERG mode. Best thing would be to have a setting switch like "KICKR control per Interval" yes/no that could disable having the interval tell the kickr what it should do.
4) It should be a small change to enable entering numbers 0-9 in the website workouts' interval ERG field to control the KICKR in those manual resistance levels. This might actually work already, I'll have to test. Should probably then rename the field "Trainer control" or something.
5) need to fix this
Your final comment I think would be solved by the switch mentioned in #3
Thank you for responding 1.
Thank you for responding
1. I think that editing app only would be fine. You are right editing in the app workouts from the web... that could be difficult. I didnt even realize that you could edit on the web.
2. Here is an example
a. Warmup
b. 30 seconds all out
c. 30 seconds easy
d. go back to b 30x times
e. cooldown
3. I think what you said is right
4. Yes
5. Yes
Thanks again

Isn't #2 exactly what the current Ad Hoc interval workout can do?
a) set warmup interval
b) set work interval (e.g. 30 seconds, with zone 6 or 7)
c) set rest interval e.g. 30 seconds zone 1
d) set cool down interval
e) set number of sets, which will repeat the b/c work/rest cycle
Or maybe you mean that in the configuration of a workout on the website there needs to be an easy way to make a massive looping set, without all the duplication. There are tools there to duplicate intervals; it wouldn't take that long to make 30x. You just have to use the checkbox to select the group to duplicate. So, select the work/rest and duplicate and you have 2x, select both pairs, duplicate and you get 4x, so it goes 8x 16x 30x done.
