Calibration function doesn't work
Submitted by tribeathlon on Tue, 2011-06-07 14:00
I have tried numerous times to perform power meter calibration with no luck. I navigate to screen and tap calibrate, and then it just looks like it's calibrating, but never gives confirmation that calibration occurred, output zero offset, etc. Other problems I've had have been fixed by resetting unit, but not this one. Please help, thanks.

powermeter calibration
Hi,
I'm going to assume you have an SRM powermeter, as PowerTap and Quarq both have autocalibration only, so it was only the SRM that the calibration was supposed to do anything. And that was broken in iMi (as you have discovered). You should upgrade the app, because in the current version 2.15 the application no longer has a calibration function at all, and there is improved handling of auto-calibration for SRM powermeters. The latest SRM firmware should also be installed, as it improves its implementation of auto-calibration. You should set the SRM to auto-calibrate when using iMobileIntervals.
