Hello IMI Engineering,
You have what looks to be a very promising app, and it's great to see early support for the Wahoo fitness dongle. That said, I think you have a bug that makes your ANT+ features unusable. Steps to recreate:
1.) launch the IMI iPhone app... Notice the ANT+ icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen;
2.) close the IMI iPhone app, making sure it's not running in the background;
3.) launch the IMI iPhone app... Notice that the ANT+ icons is no longer on the toolbar... Oops!
I was able to recreate this scenario on three devices: iPhone4, iPod Touch (not sure which generation), and iPad. It does not matter whether the Fisica dongle is attached to the device or not. On one attempt, I was able to actually use the ANT+ features, but since shutting the app down for the first time, I can no longer see the ANT+ tools. Rebooting the device (at least on the iPod Touch) did not provide any sort of workaround. (I haven't tried rebooting the other devices at this point.) Note that I am running iOS 4.0.2 on both the iPhone and iPod Touch. I'm one rev behind the current rev on the iPad (3.2.1?).)
Update accepted
Version 2.01 fixing this issue has been approved and released to the App Store.
Workaround
Thanks for catching this. There is an easy workaround. This bug only appears if you have made no changes at all to the iMi settings in the iPhone Settings app. So open that, change something (switch auto-start music off, for instance). Then return to iMi and you will see the ANT+ tab again!. There is a switch in the settings to turn off ANT+ which removes the tab. There is some problem with the saved defaults being read if there have been no changes to them, and it seems that empty is being intrepreted as NO for that switch, thus removing the tab.
Best regards,
