6x6 Minute Mock TTs
Use your TT aerobars today—1.5hours total ride.
WU: Begin the workout with 15 minutes at level 2 endurance pace watts from 150-190 and pedaling smooth with self-selected cadence.
MS: After your warm-up, then let’s complete (6) Mock TT’s . Each is 6minutes long, but only 96- 102% of your TT pace. This should be around 240-255 watts. Start out strong, but not too fast, you need to pace yourself in these efforts, and then hold like glue to your wattage goal of 240-255watts. These will help you to learn pacing better, get in some solid work at threshold power and also give you enough time while at threshold power to get into a solid powerful rhythm.
These intervals are just about going fast, but not hammering at max pace.
REST for at least 6-8 minutes between each with watts<120.
CD: Cool-down for 15 minutes easy, watts below 150.
