Now and next interval text not displaying correctly

I used the app this morning on an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1 (12B411) and intervals 3.6. The new 3.6 does not display the current or next interval text correctly. On some intervals it scrolls briefly then disappears, on other intervals it does not display at all.
