iMobileIntervals 3.7 Released: ERG file import, open-ended intervals, intervals graph

More love for the WahooFitness KICKR in this release! ERG/MRC files contain data to control the resistance of the KICKR trainer, and while iMobileIntervals.com has had an ERG importer feature for some time, converting ERG/MRC files into iMi workouts in your Personal Workouts library, you can now send ERG and MRC files direct to the app.

The file must have a .erg or .mrc file ending, and conform to the standard or PerfPro ERG format (however distance and slope intervals are not supported).

How to do it:

If you receive an email with an ERG or MRC file attachment, open the email in the iOS mail app, find the attachment in the email body, touch it to open, then touch the share icon in the upper right. The iMobileIntervals icon will appear as one of the apps that can handle this kind of attachment. Touch the iMi icon and it will launch iMobileIntervals and create the workout in the loaded workouts page.

Even better, you can now use the TrainingPeaks app to deliver Intervals workouts with KICKR control to iMobileIntervals.

1) add the ERG or MRC file as an attachment to a workout in TrainingPeaks. It can be on your calendar or in your workout Library. You may want to add it to a future workout, which is a premium feature.
2) open the TrainingPeaks app and locate the workout in your calendar or library. Touch the paperclip icon to view attachments. Touch the attachment to open, then touch the share button. The iMobileIntervals icon will appear as one of the apps that can handle this kind of attachment. Touch the iMi icon and it will launch iMobileIntervals and create the workout in the loaded workouts page.

Other new features in this release:

* For website workouts, to make an interval be open-ended until the lap button is pressed, leave the duration set to 0 but add some other field, such as cadence, intensity or descriptor. At least one field is required or it will discard the interval.
* For the taller iOS devices (iPod Gen5, iPHone 5/6/6+) the space at the bottom of the workout display is now occupied by an interval graph. Columns alternate blue/grey and height is according to intensity. The current interval is orange.
